First Day of School

The first day of school looked a little different this year. The Principal extended his warmest welcome to all the YHKCC students, in particular the new F.1 members via an online Welcoming Assembly instead of physical greetings at the campus.

2019-2020 has been a challenging year and the outbreak of Covid-19 has resulted in extended school suspension and cancellation of major school events. However, with our strong Christian beliefs and values, we have endeavored to overcome the difficulties and wrapped up a fruitful year. In view of the latest epidemic situation, we will continue to have online learning and it is believed that with the intellectual character dispositions in the YHKCC Learner Profile, our students will put in their best to follow the online learning protocols to excel in their learning.

The 5 core values, CARES principles as well as the scripture of the year “The Spirit God gave us does not make us afraid. His Spirit is a source of power and love and self-control.” (2 Timothy 1:7) give us support and determination to overcome challenges in the year ahead.

Looking ahead, we are well prepared for the resumption of classes by phases in a gradual and orderly manner and to meet our students, wearing their uniforms with pride and smiling faces, coming back to school.

We wish all students a fantastic and fruitful new school year ahead!

Let’s express our warmest welcome to the new teachers and students again
